Attention, Selenators! Selena Gomez has officially unveiled her first musical project of 2024. On Thursday, February 15, she announced the release of her latest song titled “Love On,” a fitting choice following Valentine’s Day.
The 31-year-old pop sensation shared the exciting news with her fans via Instagram, revealing that the song is set to drop on Thursday, February 22. In her announcement post, she teased a lyric from the song, stating, “Wait ’til I turn my love on.” Don’t forget to presale “Love On” for its release on 2.22!
The multi-talented singer-actress also unveiled the cover art for the song, featuring Gomez leaning against an elegant window frame adorned with a white bathrobe, sunglasses, and a hair towel. Beyond her, a vast azure ocean stretches into the distance.
The photo exudes a vintage aesthetic, complemented by the song’s title written in intricate red script.
Gomez’s latest release, following her August comeback single “Single Soon,” produced by Benny Blanco, is titled “Love On.” Upon its debut, the song surged to No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Fans can expect to find both “Single Soon” and “Love On” on the upcoming third album of the Only Murders in the Building star, slated for release later this year. Gomez has hinted that this album may be her final venture into music, expressing in January that she’s contemplating focusing more on acting, stating, “I do feel like I have one more album in me, but I would probably choose acting.
